Knife Tech have an extensive portfolio of products including Circular, Toothed and Straight Machine Knives, Razor Slitting, Utility, Industrial, Perforating and Tear Line Blades, Hand Knives, Safety Knives, Industrial Scissors, Crown Punches and ancilliary items which include Knife Holders (including replacement parts), CBN Grinding Wheels, Hardened Sleeves and Spacers.
Materials Used
Our Machine Knives and Industrial Blades are manufactured from
a variety of materials to suit the particular application that they are required for, these include 'High Performance' CPM 10V (9.75% Vanadium) ASP Powder HSS, Tungsten Carbide and Zirconian Ceramic as well as the better known High Speed, High Carbon High Chrome, Stainless and Carbon Steels.
Specialised Coatings
This extensive combination of materials is complemented by a range of special coatings which can be applied to our knives and blades including Titanium Nitride, Titanium Carbo Nitride, Carbide, Ceramic and Xylan (Teflon) to reduce friction, increase edge life and improve efficiency.

Stock
A large inventory of finished products are carried in stock at all times especially for the Converting, Packaging, Printing, Paper and Plastics Industries.

Lead times for products manufactured to order varies depending
upon factors such as material availability and complexity of the manufacturing process, realistic lead times are given not one just to get the customers order and we are happy to quote for both large and small quantities including proto-types and development projects.
